My room mate gave me her apple pie that came with her McDonald’s meal. I looked at the nutrition facts, and that little, tiny pie has 250 calories, not to mention carbs and sugar that only serve to make it worse. I was about go to class, so I took the pie and put it in my bag because I didn’t have time to think about it.
Class is almost over, and the first thing I’m going to do when class lets out is throw that stupid pie in the garbage. :)
Aww man. I’m sorry that had to happen. (Pie Down!) That pie and the Filet-o-Fish are like the only thing I eat from McDonalds.
A healthy replacement (if you think it could happen again soon) could be some plain almonds (like a good 10 to 15) and a medium green apple. It would be half the calories and twice as filling, yet taste almost the same/better.
